Elisha is a valuable member of our team at Sanctuary Cove Country Club and always gives a cheery welcome to our members and guests. We asked Elisha to tell us a bit more about herself, including her exercise regime.
Q: What do you love about being part of the team at Sanctuary Cove Country Club?
A: I love being a part of the SCCC team. I love that everyone is so supportive and really makes the effort to help in any situation they can. I love knowing that there is always some I can go to for help.
Q: Take us through your average day at work.
A: An average day at work involves a lot of chatting and helping members where possible. I spend time cleaning and organising the gym as well.
Q: Go-to work out?
A: Always boxing. But I also love running, especially outdoors in nature but really anything that gets the heart pumping, I love.
Q: What are you listening to right now during your work out?
A: I don’t really have a go-to song. I like to change it up and I sometimes enjoy a podcast.
Q: Favourite spot to grab a bite to eat at Sanctuary Cove?
A: I absolutely love going out for dinner with my family. We try to change it up every time, but Chim Thai Cove in Sanctuary Cove is a favourite of ours.
Q: Do you have a hobby or special talent?
A: I love boxing so I spend a lot of time on that. The training is quite intense, so I don’t really have time for any other hobbies.
Q: How do you take your coffee?
A: Unless I’m at a café with friends it’s generally just a black coffee. Quick, easy, and effective.
Q: How do you like to spend your downtime?
A: My downtime is spent with my parents, going for walks, or grabbing coffee together. But I also love getting stuck into a good book and laying in the sun.
Q: Best health/nutrition/fitness tip?
A: I think the best health advice is just keep trying and never give up. I think people try to overcomplicate it sometimes.
Q: Favourite athlete?
A: My favourite boxer at the moment is Terence Crawford. Absolutely unreal skill and a humble human being.
