It’s low-impact, high-intensity, balanced and precise. It can strengthen and tone the entire body, build your core, improve posture and breathing, and provide a mental health outlet and increase mindfulness.

Could you benefit from Clinical Pilates?

Clinical Pilates is an individualised and targeted form of Pilates following injury or surgery such as chronic back pain, shoulder pain and mobility. It is also used by elite athletes and golfers to improve movement, enhance fitness and performance and assist with injury prevention. This is performed by a qualified physiotherapist on the reformer Pilates equipment in a safe environment.

Meet Alex Whiteley, a recent graduate from the exercise physiology program at Griffith University and clinical Pilates instructor with a fascinating background in amateur golf.

With a deep understanding of human physiology and biomechanics, Alex utilizes the knowledge developed throughout his degree to design tailored exercise programs that promote optimal health and enhance physical performance. Having transitioned from a career as a amateur golfer, he brings a unique perspective to his practice, combining his passion for sports and fitness to help individuals improve their overall well-being through targeted exercise and specialized Pilates techniques.

He has a special interest that ranges from the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries to assisting people regain their independence while dealing with or after having suffered all manner of neurological conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia.


Introducing Zak, an Exercise Physiologist and your dedicated reformer Pilates instructor with a twist. With a background rooted in the vibrant world of entertainment, Zak has been captivating audiences since childhood. Drawing inspiration from the circus, Zak’s love for health and fitness blossomed, leading to a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and Clinical Exercise Physiology from Griffith University.
